[8] Het CETVB dient te bemiddelen tussen toezichthouders wanneer zij geen overeenstemming kunnen bereiken over de validatie van een intern risicomodel van een verzekeringsonderneming; het comité kan bindende besluiten nemen om de autoriteit aan te wijzen die de functie en verantwoordelijkheden van de "groepstoezichthouder" van een grensoverschrijdende verzekeringsgroep op zich dient te nemen.
