Alexander Kolks to Head Brussels Office - Hoofdinhoud

Goddard Global—the international affiliate to the US firm, Goddard Gunster—on Monday announced that Political Advisor Alexander Kolks would join their European public affairs team at their office at Rue Breydel 34, 1040 in Brussels.

Kolks comes to Goddard Global from the European Parliament where he served as Chief of Staff to VVD delegation leader, also President of Liberal international Hans van Baalen MEP.

In this capacity, he helped oversee European foreign affairs, security and defence policy projects as well as projects aimed at enhancing democracies in developing nations.

Kolks will lead issue advocacy efforts out of Goddard Global’s Belgium-based office, joining Senior Vice President Rob Leggat and Chris Dougan, Global’s Managing Partner in furthering worldwide initiatives and communications projects for the firm’s clients.

Founding partner Ben Goddard said of Kolks, “Alexander has a breadth of expertise in the global arena and I have no doubt that his leadership in Brussels will be a game changer in our worldwide advocacy efforts.”

Kolks began his career at the Ministry of Justice, handling external relations before moving on to the Dutch National Parliament as an advisor to the frontrunner in the European Parliament elections.
