LI President addresses FDP congress - Hoofdinhoud

The LI president told the Congress: “Walter Scheel, Hans Dietrich Genscher, Klaus Kinkel and Guido Westerwelle have shaped the German Federal Republic as it is today. The open-minded, liberal Germany is not only a country that is acknowledged as European and global economic vehicle, respected for its democracy and international human rights policy, but is also loved as a neighbour, friend and member of the international community.”

During the Congress, the FDP set out their programme for the European elections and selected their top candidates. President Van Baalen called on the German voters to not only return the top candidate of FDP in the European Elections but many more FDP MEPs. Further information about the Congress can be found here.
