LI Congres in Rotterdam - Hoofdinhoud
In Rotterdam wordt dit weekend het congres gehouden van de Liberal International. Vanochtend is het congres officieel geopend door president van de LI, Hans van Baalen. The final meeting of the existing LI bureau is taking place as the 59th Congress of Liberal International begins in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. With representatives from Africa, Asia, and Europe the meeting will be the last for Hans van Baalen MEP as the president of LI. Van Baalen, who is also the leader of the Dutch liberals VVD in the European Parliament, has been the president of Liberal International since 2009.
All bureau members praised the enormous contributions that President Van Baalen has made to the development of liberalism around the world during his 5 years leading the global liberal family.

Opening of the Congress
