FNF meets Mr Hans van Baalen, Member of European Parliament - Hoofdinhoud

Hans van Baalen, Member of the European Parliament and former president of Liberal International, visited the FNF Regional Office in Bangkok last week. Mr. van Baalen, a political expert of international relations and security, used the visit to discuss recent developments in Thailand and the region.

The meeting was concluded by the presentation of an overview of our successful projects in the region.

One of the projects was the interactive board game Sim-Democracy, which was started in Thailand and is now about to spread to Myanmar, Indonesia, Korea, Buthan and even India. Mr. van Baalen showed particular interest in the FNF Freedom Barometer Asia as a tool to assess the development in the region from a liberal point of view.
