The ALDE Party condemns the attacks in Brussels on Tuesday 22 March. Freedom, democracy, and an open society must prevail in Europe. Our thoughts go to the victims, the wounded, and their family and friends.
Hans van Baalen MEP, ALDE Party President, has sent his condolences to Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel. Van Baalen said: "I express my sincere condolences to the victims of the attacks in Brussels. Europe stands firm and united with Belgium for an open and democratic society. We are one with victims, wounded and their loved ones. We are one with Belgium."
