Romanian ALDE becomes third force in local elections - Hoofdinhoud

Last weekend in local elections, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Romania established itself as the third political force of the country. A member of the ALDE Party family since November 2015, and only founded 10 months ago, the party has done a remarkable job of position themselves as the third force between their left and right competitors.
ALDE Party President Hans van Baalen MEP welcomed the good news from Romania and congratulated Calin Popescu-Tariceanu. With around 6% of mayors and councillors, they are a credible third force.
