ICAO must stop blocking Taiwan - Hoofdinhoud

ALDE Party President and Foreign Affairs spokesman in the European Parliament Hans van Baalen, deeply deplores that Taiwan was not invited to the 39th Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), that took place in Montreal from September 27 to October 7. This directly goes against the spirit of UN-cooperation and denies the need to include Taiwan for international flight safety.

President Van Baalen strongly demands that ICAO will invite Taiwan to its coming meetings and to include Taiwan in its expertise. The international community should do everything possible to change the policy of ICAO in this respect.
