Seminar on May 12: Industry views on Research, Innovation & Education

On May 12 in Brussels, the upcoming Swedish presidency of the EU opened a dialogue with industry representatives about how to improve the EU’s policies for research, education and innovative industries. The focus was on developing concrete suggestions for improving the performance of the EU´s researchfocused innovation activities.

Seminar on June 17: Future policies for innovation Europé

On June 17, a Finnish-Swedish seminar was arranged in Brussels regarding future innovation policies. The purpose was to discuss how innovation policy should be designed in the current era of economic turbulence, changing global innovation landscape and growing need for fresh and flexible policy solutions in Europe.

Seminar on July 14: Research and innovation policies

On July 14, the Swedish EU Presidency and the European commission, arranged a seminar in Brussels about the interaction between research and innovation policies. The seminars main concern was how to strengthen European competitiveness through a better coordination of these policies.
