The Expert Group will contribute to ex-ante assessment of available instruments, as well as their economic, social and environmental impacts and costs/benefits analysis, bringing in multiple competences and different perspectives (also extra European).

Activity Report Duration: 8 months: November 2015 to June 2016. The Chairperson is going to work remotely maximum 28 days. The Rapporteur is going to work remotely maximum 41 days. The members are going to work remotely maximum 25 days. At least 4 meetings with all experts are scheduled to take place either in Brussels or in the participants countries, including one kick-off meeting and one stakeholders event.Selection Procedure (members) Members have been selected by DG Research and Innovation in compliance with the Horizon 2020 Rules for participation and dissemination (OJ 2013/L 347/81), based on their skills, experience and knowledge appropriate to carry out the tasks assigned to them, ensuring the necessary competence, geographical and gender balance. Experts are individual appointed in their personal capacity to act independently and in the public interest.
