Selection procedure: 3) A continuously open call for applications for additional Type 'C' members for the Motor Vehicles working group was launched in 2019.

Selection procedure: 2) For the sub-group Emissions (MVEG) a continuously open call for applications was launched in 2018 to renew the composition of the group.

Selection procedure: 1) The members of the MVWG were selected in accordance with Framework Directive 70/156/EEC. The other members are from the Member States. It is for the authority of each Member State to decide on who will represent them.

Other: In 2022 DG ENER became an associated DG in the Member States Expert Group subgroup. Unfortunately, due to IT issues, it is not possible to add another DG to a subgroup without including it in the full group. DG ENER was therefore encoded as an 'associated' DG in the Motor Vehicles working group until this IT issue is resolved. Once resolved DG ENER will no longer be encoded as 'associated' DG in the full Motor Vehicles working group and will appear as 'associated' only for the MSEG Motor Vehicles subgroup. M. Bluriot is aware of this situation.
