The President of the Italian Council Matteo Renzi i will deliver the closing speech of the six-month Italian Presidency at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 13 January 2015.
President Matteo Renzi will present the work carried out and the results achieved by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. He will also formally handover the six month mandate to the Latvian Presidency, which will be in charge, for the first time, of the Council of the EU starting from January.
